Good if you lived in Mammoth and liked to ski. Mr. Parker should stay with his usual whodunnits.

This can't be by T. Jefferson Parker!

Calling Lifetime, hello, one of your scripts is missing. Ridiculous soap opera story with bad writing, cartoonish characters and predictable outcome. I read the first half, but could tolerate no more after that, so I skimmed. I have most of the author's other novels. Literature they are not, but they are enjoyable. This was plain stupid without one believable or likeable person in the book. Dumb fights breaking out due to macho posturing/egos. Wow, this book was stupid.

I've read all of Parker's previous books and enjoyed them all to various degrees. This book was just lousey. The story was stupid, the characters were incredibly dull and the dialogue was insipid. Please go back to the whodunits.
