Slow start but great end!

Was a slow start and I felt it was a little bit shallow, no depth with characters. I almost put the book down but the story picked up and I finally really got into it by the end. I am going to try another book by this Author. I did enjoy the book.

Ghost of You

Something about Cain McClutchen rubs Sammy the wrong way but on a terrifying case Sammy finds herself turning to the one person she doesn’t trust in this spine chilling paranormal romance.
They’ve been given orders to get along or else and the reader can’t help but get caught up in all the sparks that fly as tensions give way to something bright and surprisingly intimate as darkness surrounds them and a sinister presence makes things personal. The chemistry sizzles from every page with explosive heat even as the emotional angst that flows from the pages due to traumatic past experiences grips readers by the heart. Strong captivating characters grab the reader’s attentions and their motivations are easily understood, while the fast paced, smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of suspense, chills and romance.
Expectations build spine tingling suspense throughout the story as the crew discover that the ghosts they are investigating has targeted Sammy and the excitement builds as the danger escalates with none of the crew being prepared for the evil they are facing. Well written scenes and details paint vivid images and make it easy for the reader to feel as if they are taking part in the investigation (be prepared for the hair raising and cold chills) and the intriguing events make it impossible for the reader to put the story down.
I was completely enthralled by this story from the very beginning, Kelly Moran has a gift for making the setting, characters and events work together to create a story that seems so very real. I have to confess that this is the first book that I have read by the author (it won’t be the last) and while the story can be read as stand alone, I certainly missed out on getting to know the other members of the Phantoms crew and their stories.

Third time is a charm! A continued hit in Kelly's series :)

I randomly found out about Kelly Moran, and her book plots seemed interesting. I picked up one of her books, then started devouring everything I could get my hands on. This is the latest book in her Phantoms series, and it doesn't disappoint.
I love Kelly's writing, and how real the characters feel. Cain is at the top of his game, and can come across like a cocky jerk. He absolutely loathes Sammy! The producers of the show they are on pretty much demand that they learn to like each other - This is one of my favorite romance tropes!
The TV crew is asked to investigate an old church that has been burned down. *Cue the creepy muzak* Weird things start happening and the characters are pushed to their limits. The books turns suspenseful and I just buckled in for the ride. Cain also starts to protect Sammy, and takes her under his wing. Soon Cain and Sammy's passion ignites....
I don't want to give too much away, but I recommend that you give this book (or any of Kelly's) a try. You won't regret it!
